In one category we place all of the usual challenges: maintaining revenue; striving to do more with a dedicated and talented – but numerically limited – staff; ensuring effective engagement and oversight from the Board of Directors; and, most important, meeting the organization’s essential mission.

We place all those “other” challenges in the second category, usually defined more by questions than by statements: how can we increase our fund development? What do we need to do to be more effective grant writers?  We’re not getting anything out of social media, but everyone else seems to…are we doing something wrong? We really need to bring in more Board members, but where do we start?
